Year 5- Finlay
Year 6- Marcus
This half term we will be moving on to the topic of 'Beachcombers'. We will be looking at coasts, how the sea shapes the coastline, coastal erosion, the impact of the sea on human activity, mountains and different mountain ranges in the world.
In English we are continuing to read 'Floodland' and base our writing upon this.
In maths we are looking at multiplication and division, factors, multiples and fractions. We have a weekly times tables test and use Times Tables Rockstars to practise the times tables we are learning. Mathletics is used in class and also as part of our homework to consolidate what we have been learning in class.
