Food in School
Who can have a school meal
All children in school can be supplied with a school meal.
From September 2014 all children in reception, year 1 and year 2 are entitled to a free school meal regardless of the income of their parents.
Children in year 3 and above will need to pay for their school meal, unless they are eligible for free school meals
Parents on non working benefits may qualify for "eligibility based" free school meals. Parents who already receive the entitlement for older siblings, should still apply for their younger siblings, even if they are in Key Stage 1. School are able to offer other benefits to pupils who are eligible for free school meals such as support with school trips and clubs.
If you think your family may be eligible, or if your family circumstances have recently changed, please speak to the school office and they can support you in making an application.
